General Terms & Conditions
1. Card Usage
Rapid Pass is a re-loadable, contactless smart card designed for use on authorized transport services. It must be used only by the registered cardholder and is non-transferable.
2. Validity
The Rapid Pass card remains valid for a lifetime unless revoked due to misuse or fraud.
3. Recharge and Refund
Users can recharge their cards through authorized channels such as bank branches, ATMs, mobile apps, or online banking. Refund of any remaining balance is subject to verification and processing time.
4. Lost or Damaged Card
In case of loss, theft, or damage, users must visit the nearest Dutch-Bangla Bank branch and apply for a replacement card by paying the applicable re-issue fee.
5. User Responsibility
Users are responsible for safeguarding their Rapid Pass card and associated confidential information.
6. Prohibited Activities
Misuse, unauthorized resale, or fraudulent use of the Rapid Pass is prohibited.
7. Service Changes
Rapid Pass reserves the right to modify or discontinue services at any time without prior notice.
8. Limitation of Liability
Rapid Pass shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the card.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh.
10. Refund, Return, and Cancellation Policy
In case of a chargeback due to a lost, damaged, or defective card, or in any other situation, the user must submit a refund request through our website. Once a payment has been successfully completed, it cannot be canceled or reversed.
Online Top-Up Terms & Conditions
1. Registration Requirement
To make your first online recharge, you must register on the website/Rapid Pass app at www.rapidpass.com.bd.
2. Card Registration
If your Rapid Pass card is not already registered, you will need to register it before making an online recharge. After registration, you can make the payment online through the payment gateway
3. Balance Activation
After completing an online payment, you must tap your card on an Add Value Machine (AVM) to ensure the recharged balance is added to the card.
4. Confirmation Notification
Once the recharge is successful, an SMS notification will be sent to your registered mobile number.
5. Recharge Limits
You can recharge a minimum of ৳100 and a maximum of ৳5,000 (Stored Value) at a time. Only one online recharge can remain pending at a time; you cannot initiate a new recharge until the previous one is completed.
6. Recharge Restrictions
Recharge is not allowed if the card is blacklisted, refunded, or invalid.
7. Recharge History
Users can view their recharge history through the mobile application or the web portal.
8. Recharge Cancellation
Users may request to cancel a recharge within 7 days, as long as the card has not been tapped on an AVM.
9. Cancellation Fee
A 5% service charge will be deducted for each recharge cancellation.
10. Refund for Failed Updates
If a pending transaction cannot be updated due to the card being blacklisted—such as when an online recharge is made but the balance is not updated on an AVM—the user may request a refund. In this case, a 5% service charge will also be deducted.
