General Terms and Conditions

1. Card Usage
Rapid Pass is a rechargeable, contactless smart card designed for use in authorized transport services. The card can only be used by the registered cardholder and is non-transferable.
2. Validity
The Rapid Pass card has lifetime validity. However, the card may be cancelled due to misuse or fraudulent activity.
3. Recharge and Refund
Users can recharge their cards through authorized methods, such as bank branches, ATMs, mobile apps, or online banking. Time may be required for verification and processing to refund the remaining balance.
4. Lost or Damaged Card
In case of a lost, stolen, or damaged card, the user must contact the nearest Dutch-Bangla Bank branch and apply for a replacement by paying the applicable re-issue fee.
5. User Responsibility
Users shall be responsible for maintaining the security of their Rapid Pass card and related confidential information.
6. Prohibited Activities
Misuse of the Rapid Pass card, unauthorized sale, or fraudulent use is strictly prohibited.
7. Service Changes
Rapid Pass reserves the right to change or discontinue the service at any time without prior notice.
8. Limitation of Liability
Rapid Pass shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of the card.
9. Governing Law
These terms and conditions shall be governed by the existing laws of Bangladesh.
10. Refund, Return, and Cancellation Policy
In the event of a charge back, lost, broken, or damaged card, or any other case, the user must apply for a refund via our website. Once a payment is successfully completed, it cannot be cancelled or reversed.

Online Top-up Terms and Conditions

1. Registration Required
To perform an online recharge for the first time, registration is required on the www.rapidpass.com.bd website or the Rapid Pass App.
2. Card Registration
For online recharge, if your Rapid Pass card is not already registered, it must be registered anew, and you can make payments online through the payment gateway.
3. Balance Activation
After online payment, the card must be tapped on an Add Value Machine (AVM) to ensure the recharged balance has been added.
4. Confirmation Notification
Upon a successful recharge, an SMS will be sent to the registered mobile number.
5. Recharge Limits
A minimum of 100 BDT and a maximum of 5,000 BDT (Stored Value) can be recharged on a card at a time. Additionally, there can only be one pending online recharge at a time; a new online recharge cannot be made until the previous one is completed.
6. Recharge Restrictions
If the card is blacklisted, refunded, or invalid, it cannot be recharged.
7. Recharge History
Users can view their recharge history through the application or web portal.
8. Recharge Cancellation
If desired, the user can request to cancel a recharge within 7 days before tapping the card on an AVM.
9. Cancellation Fees
A 5% service charge will be deducted in the case of recharge cancellation.
10. Refund for Failed Updates
If a balance cannot be updated due to a blacklisted card or if a pending transaction remains (e.g., online recharge made but card not tapped on AVM), the customer can request a refund. In this case, a 5% service charge will be deducted.
