👉 The initial price of a Rapid Pass card is 400 BDT. This includes a 200 BDT security deposit and a 200 BDT usable balance.
👉 After collecting the card, the customer must register it through the website or mobile app. A single customer can register a maximum of 5 active cards.
👉 Before using the card on the Metro Rail, ensure it has sufficient balance for travel. If the balance is insufficient while exiting, you must recharge your card at the Customer Service Center located near the exit gates.
👉 When using the card on a bus, a user can travel once even if there is an insufficient balance. In this case, the extra fare will be shown as a negative balance on the card. The card must be recharged before the next use, and the pending fare will be automatically adjusted at that time.
👉 Please check your updated balance every time you tap your card at a station or on a bus.
👉 If your card is lost, report it to the helpline immediately to prevent unauthorized use. Rapid Pass cards do not have an expiration date; they remain valid for a lifetime as long as they are technically functional.
