From November 1, 2023, fares can be paid using Rapid Pass on BRTC buses. In the first instance, Rapid Pass users on the Uttara-Diabari route will get this facility. Rapid Pass offers a 10% discount on metro rail travel. The Rapid Pass card and recharge have a lifetime validity. Rapid Pass card is the only card appeared by Government for all kinds of public transport. Very soon Rapid Pass will be introduce at Dhaka BRT.
Passengers can pay for the Dhaka Metro Rail fares with the Rapid Pass, issued by the Dhaka Transport Coordination Authority (DTCA).
If you have a Rapid Pass card but you didn’t register it then you can do it through card number and e-mail.
